Gallery One is happy to announce that a group art exhibition “Sensorial Immunity” organized by Gallery One opened on the 5th of June 2017 at Gallery One and Khalil Sakakini Cultural Center, running until the 10th of August 2017. The artists participating in the exhibition include; Noor Abed, Rafat Asad, Wafa Hourani, Monther Jawabreh, Bashar Khalaf, Manal Mahamid, Rabia Salfiti and Amer Shomali.

Bashar Alhroub at the International Cultural Forum of Asilah, Morocco 6 - 24 July 2017 Bashar Alhroub will be participating in the International Cultural Forum of Asilah, Morrocco from 6 to 24 July, 2017 which is an annual arts festival. It is a platform of cultural dialogue and exchange between different countries. The International Cultural Forum of Asilah draws a diverse crowd with everyone from Sufi chanters to Japanese artists, along with thousands of spectators, economists, politicians and academics. The festival offers as well public art demonstrations, exhibitions, concerts with a heavy Islamic and Spanish influence.

This festival, the first of its kind, brings together artists from all over the Arab world, Europe, Asia and the USA. The festival which includes meetings, workshops and exhibitions will provide the attendees with the experience of exchanging experiences and honouring the winners of the Sharjah prize for art criticism.

Rafat Asad and Bashar Khalaf and Amer Shomali at the Sight of Disjunction- A.M Qattan Foundation  16 July – 16 August 2017 Rafat Asad and Bashar Khalaf and Amer Shomali are also participating at the Sight of Disjunction exhibition at Al Qattan Foundation starting from the 16th of July 2017. The exhibition focuses on the biographies of Tamam Al Akhal and Ismail Shammout which have been documented by the Institute for Palestine Studies. It traces back Tamam Al Akhal’s re-framing of Ismail Shammout’s history and legacy.
